Reser Stadium Trivia Contest Begins Today

July 14, 2003

Corvallis, Ore. -

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Reser Stadium, the Oregon State University Athletic Department invites you to participate in a trivia contest with weekly winners receiving game tickets, and one lucky winner receiving an all-inclusive package to a game.

Each week participating stations on the Beaver Sports Radio Network as well as the website will debut a trivia question relating to the 50 years of the stadium. A correct response will be randomly selected from the entrees, with the winner receiving two tickets to the Nov. 15 home finale vs. Stanford.

The weekly winners will be entered into a grand prize drawing. The grand prize includes two additional 50-yard line tickets for the Stanford game, with Saturday night hotel accommodations, Stadium Club pregame access, and admittance to the Valley Football Center postgame reception.

Reser Stadium officially opened Nov. 14, 1953. The stadium, originally known as Parker Stadium, has hosted 213 varsity football games.

The contest officially begins Mon., July 14 and will continue through August 26.
