Aug. 5, 2003
EUGENE - The University of Oregon has set a record for football season ticket sales for the sixth year in a row and have suspended sales before the start of the season for the fifth straight year, according to Senior Associate Athletics Director Dave Heeke.
The Ducks have suspended sales after reaching 40,435 tickets sold, surpassing last year's mark of 40,207.
In addition, no tickets remain for home games vs. Michigan (Sept. 20) and Oregon State (Nov. 22), while standing room-only tickets are all that remain for Oregon's Sept. 27 date with Washington State. Those tickets are available for $13 each.
Reserved seats for the Ducks' three remaining home games vs. Nevada (Sept. 6), Stanford (Oct. 25) and California (Nov. 8) remain on sale for $32.
Single-game tickets may be purchased in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Casanova Center Ticket Office, by phone with a Visa or Mastercard by calling 346-4461 or 1-800-WEBFOOT, or via the internet by visiting www.goducks.com.
