ASU Football Legends To Help Celebrate Launch Of College Football Postage Stamps.

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The United States Postal Service has announced the launch of a series of commemorative postage stamps honoring the College Football Hall of Fame. Arizona State football alumni and College Football Hall of Famers Frank Kush, Danny White and Ron Pritchard will be on hand at the Tuesday, August 12 press conference in Phoenix to assist in the celebration.
The press conference is from 10-11 a.m. at the USPS Phoenix branch at 4949 E. Van Buren Street. Phoenix Postmaster General Carl Grigel will host the proceedings. The set of stamps will honor four individuals: Walter Camp, Ernie Nevers, Red Grange and Bronko Nagurski. The agreement between the USPS and the College Football Hall of Fame is slated to continue for the next two years.
Frank Kush will give a short speech on the College Football Hall of Fame and Sun Devils in the Hall at the press conference which will feature a limited number autographed footballs signed by Coach Kush to be given out.
Other giveaways at the event include vouchers good for 2 admissions to the Sun Devil game versus Northern Arizona, and football schedule cards. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to speak with an ASU representative regarding football season tickets. Sparky the Sun Devil will also be on hand to greet the ASU faithful.
