Oregon State-Sacramento State Nearing Sellout

Aug. 26, 2003

CORVALLIS - Oregon State's season opening football game with Sacramento State is nearing a sellout as only 1,400 individual reserve seat tickets remain available for Thursday's 7:00 p.m. game with Sacramento State at Reser Stadium.

Oregon State has sold out Reser Stadium (35,362) for 16 straight games, dating back to USC on Sept. 30, 2000.

Matt Arend, OSU's director of ticket operations, is encouraging Oregon State fans to come early to Thursday's game as he expects a long will call line. The OSU Athletic Ticket Office, room 107 Gill Coliseum will be open at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and the Reser Stadium ticket booths open at 3:00 p.m.

Oregon State's home games with Boise State (Sept. 20) and Washington (Oct. 18) are sold out.

Season tickets were capped at 22,200 for the 2003 season, the third straight year the Beavers have sold out their season tickets. OSU sold 23,000 season tickets in 2001 and 2002.

The Beavers still have individual tickets left for four home games-New Mexico State (Sept. 13); Arizona State (Oct. 25); Arizona (Nov. 1) and Stanford (Nov. 15). The number of individual tickets left for the following games follow:

New Mexico State-2,300
