Dick Bennett To Conduct Clinics On West Side

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State Head Men's Basketball Coach Dick Bennett will hold clinics for coaches on Washington's West side, Sep. 8-10.

Bennett, in his first year at WSU, will discuss his offensive and defensive philosophy. The Clintonville, Wis., native has 453 career wins and led Wisconsin to the 2000 Final Four.

The clinics will be held from 6-9:30 p.m. at Mark Morris High School in Longview (Sep. 8), Highline Community College in Des Moines (Sep. 9) and Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville (Sep. 10).

In addition to next week's clinics, Bennett and his staff will hold a clinic at Central Valley High School in Spokane, Sep. 15.

There is a $5 admission for the clinic. Coaches interested in attending may contact WSU Assistant Coach Mike Burns at 509-335-0240.
