SEATTLE, Wash. -Washington junior Alex Vlaski is ranked fourth in the nation according to the Preseason ITA Men's Tennis Singles Rankings, announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
Benedikt Dorsch from Baylor is the country's top-ranked singles player, followed by Georgia's Bo Hodge and UCLA's Tobias Clemens. Florida's Janne Holmia rounds out the top-five players. Team rankings are not released until January.
Vlaski (Belgrade, Yugoslavia), who earned All-America honors last year and ended the season with a final singles ranking of sixth in the nation, advanced to the 2003 NCAA singles semifinal before falling to the eventual champion, Amer Delic from Illinois.
