Men's Golf Opens Fall Season At William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team will open the 2003-04 season at the 48th annual William H. Tucker Intercollegiate this Friday and Saturday, September 12-13, at the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course (par 72/7,354 yards) in Albuqueque, New Mexico.
The teams will play 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday. The low four scores each round will count towards a team's total score.
Twenty schools from around the country will participate in the event: Air Force, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Brigham Young, Colorado, Colorado State, Hawaii, UNLV, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Carolina State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, UTEP, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Toledo.
Tee times on Friday will be a shotgun start beginning at 7:30 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the last tee time scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
Results will be posted as soon as possible on the University of New Mexico website (www.golobos.com).
