Washington State-Colorado Provided On Pay-Per-View

Sept. 10, 2003

PULLMAN, Wash. --- Washington State's game at Colorado Saturday will be provided by several national satellite television services on pay-per-view.

Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, is producing and distributing the telecast nationally to satellite television services. The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference television rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised on a pay-per-view basis.

Chris Marlowe, Clete Casper, and Chuck Garfien form the announcing team.

Programming providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not pre-empt Fox Sports Net's regularly scheduled programming.

The Cougars and Buffaloes are slated to kickoff at 12:30 p.m. The suggested retail price for the broadcast is $29.95.
