I was five years old.

Who inspired you to play golf?
My father.

Describe the best shot you ever hit under pressure.
In a U.S. Open 18-hole qualifier, I punch-hooked a 5-iron under a tree and around and over another one from 175 yards onto the collar of the green.

What was the toughest golf course you ever played?
Merion GC in Pennsylvania

What is your favorite golf course and why?
Wilshire CC has the purest greens I've ever putted on.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions or rituals?
I tie my right shoe before my left one.

What was you favorite sport other than golf?
I like tennis and swimming.

What was your favorite moment of last season?
Making it to the NCAA's as a Bruin.

If you could change anything about your sport, what would you change?
I would make it faster.

If you could give advice to a young kid playing your sport, what would it be?
Swing hard and have fun.

Who is the first person you call after a round?
Depending on where I am, my sister Ina (a junior at Nortwestern), my parents or my swing coach Patrick Boyd.

'Mother.' My sister talked me into it.

What is your favorite place on campus?
The Sculpture Garden.

Why did you transfer to UCLA?
To pester Coach Forsyth to an early grave. Also to make Bridget (Dwyer's) life complete.

What is your favorite book?
'Red Lobster, White Trash, and the Blue Lagoon' by Joe Queenan

Who do you admire most in life and why?
My parents - their approach to life and ability to dispense wisdom inspire me.

What is your nickname?
'Korean Barbie' ('KB') is the current and most steadfast favorite. 'H' and 'HK' also work. Coach calls me 'Master' because I own her on the golf course.

If you had one last meal, what would it be?
Sushi at Tengu in Westwood.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Cookies and Cream or Mint Chocolate Chip.

What is your favorite midnight snack?
Cookies and Cream ice cream.

What would you never be caught dead wearing?
Leopard print or patent leather.

Do you have any phobias?
Dark waters (ocean), spiders and sharks!

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you?
Strange things don't really happen to me.

What is the best birthday present you ever received?
My best girlfriends taking me to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday.

What is your favorite childhood memory?
Early mornings on the golf course with my sister Ina and my parents.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of sports?
Yoga and late morning breakfasts with friends.

What is your favorite color?
Gun-metal blue

What is your favorite holiday and why?
Thanksgiving because it really makes me take the time to be grateful for the people in my life. It hasn't been overly commercialized.
