Heading into the final weekend for Pac-10 teams to tune-up prior to Conference play, the league has posted a combined 41-31-15 record (.557) against non-conference opponents... Six teams are ranked among the nation's Top-25 this week, led by No. 3/No. 4 UCLA... ARIZONA STATE, coming off its third consecutive shutout victory, travels to San Diego for matches at SDSU and the University of San Diego... The Bruins, idle last week, play a single match at UNLV this weekend... STANFORD, winners of two in a row, hosts the Stanford/Nike Invitational this weekend with participants Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount.

PAC-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEKUSC freshman forward Rosa Anna Tantillo has been named the Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 23-29.

Tantillo, from San Diego, Calif., scored two goals and assisted on a third as No. 23 USC posted a 3-0 upset win at No. 13 Santa Clara on Sept. 26. It marked only the ninth home loss for the Broncos over the last six seasons and matched their worst loss in 12 years, equaling a 3-0 loss to Stanford last season.

Tantillo opened the scoring for USC in the sixth minute, scoring on a breakaway. Senior Jessica Edwards notched her fourth goal of the season off a pass from Tantillo in the 80th minute, giving the Trojans a 2-0 advantage. Tantillo added her second goal on a penalty kick in the 86th minute. It marked the second two-game goal of the season for Tantillo.

USC (4-3-3 overall), travels to Brigham Young on Friday, its final non-conference match before opening the Pac-10 slate at home with Washington on Oct. 9.

This is Tantillo's first Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and USC's Pac-10-leading 16th weekly honor all-time.

ARIZONA: The Wildcats' leading scorer last season, SO F Kelly Nelson, saw her first action over the weekend after missing UA's first seven matches with an ankle injury... Nelson combined with JR F Candice Wilks for a double-assist on Arizona's goal in a 2-1 loss to UNLV... Wilks is tied for third on the UA's all-time scoring list with 30 points (12 goals/6 assists).

ARIZONA STATE: The Sun Devils stretched their unbeaten streak to five game with a 2-0 shutout of New Mexico... SO MF Brittany Cooper, a native of Albuquerque, N.M., recorded her team-leading sixth goal of the season and SO F Elizabeth Bogus notched her fourth on the year... SR F Patrice Feulner assisted on both goals... ASU travels to San Diego this week, facing San Diego State on Friday and San Diego on Sunday.

CALIFORNIA: SR D Amy Willison scored her first collegiate goal to lead the Bears to a 1-0 victory over Colorado College... Cal suffered its first loss of the season, snapping its six-game unbeaten streak, falling 2-1 to Wake Forest on Sept. 26... In the midst of a six-game road trip, the Bears travel to Missouri on Friday and are at Marquette on Sunday.

OREGON: The Ducks fell by identical 5-0 scores at Loyola Marymount and Cal State Fullerton over the weekend... Oregon has played four straight matches against NCAA tournament teams, and hosts defending NCAA Champion Portland on Friday... The Weber State Wildcats visit Eugene on Sunday in Oregon's last non-conference action of the season.

OREGON STATE: The Beavers fell 2-0 to Portland State, dropping their fifth game in a row... SO F Brianna Monka paces the squad in points (8) and goals (4)...Oregon State hosts Weber State on Friday and travels to Portland on Saturday.

STANFORD: The Cardinal picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, dominating San Francisco 6-1 and edging Saint Mary's 1-0... JR F Natalie Sanderson recorded the game-winner against the Gaels, scoring in the second overtime period... Sanderson also posted seven of the team's 21 shots... Against the Dons, she notched a goal in the 40th minute... Stanford hosts Santa Clara, Texas Christian and Loyola Marymount Friday and Sunday in the Stanford/Nike Invitational.

UCLA: Idle last week, the Bruins travel to Las Vegas for a match with UNLV on Friday... SR MF Whitney Jones, also a member of the UCLA women's basketball team, paces the Bruins with 10 points and four goals on the season... SO F Iris Mora has a team-leading four assists and is second with eight points.

USC: FR F Rosa Anna Tantillo scored two goals and added an assist in No. 23 USC's 3-0 upset win over No. 13 Santa Clara on Sept. 26... It marked just the ninth loss at home over the last six seasons for the Broncos... Tantillo leads USC in goals (5) and points (12) on the season... The Santa Clara game was her second two-goal game of the season after netting a pair Aug. 31 at Florida... JR GK Julie Peterson posted her third shutout of the season and the 11th of her career... USC played Loyola Marymount to a scoreless tie on Sept. 28... USC travels to Brigham Young on Friday, its final non-conference match before the start of Pac-10 play.

WASHINGTON: The 13th-ranked Huskies' had their three-game winning streak snapped by defending NCAA Champion Portland on Sept. 26, falling 1-0 to the No. 8-ranked Pilots... JR F Tina Frimpong continues to pace the Pac-10 in points (18), goals (8) and game-winning goals (3)... The Huskies average 5.11 points per game, third in the Pac-10, and are second in assists (1.78 apg)... Washington wraps up its five-game homestand, and non-conference action, with games at Portland State and Idaho State this weekend.

WASHINGTON STATE: The Cougars fell on the road by identical 2-0 scores to No. 16 Texas and No. 3 Texas A&M... SR F Shelby Brownfield paced Washington State with four shots against the Longhorns, while SR F Rachel Rodrick logged a team-high three shots against the Aggies... Rodrick paces the team with seven points and three goals on the season... WSU hosts Idaho State Friday at 3 p.m.
