Jordan Harvey Selected to Soccer America's Team of the Week

Oct. 2, 2003

UCLA sophomore defender Jordan Harvey (Mission Viejo, CA/Capistrano Valley HS) was selected to Soccer America's Team of the Week for games played Sept. 21-28. Harvey assisted on the game-winning goal for the Bruins against rival Loyola Marymount and helped the UCLA defense record its fourth consecutive shutout.

Harvey was also called up by U.S. Under-20 National Team Coach Thomas Rongen for the U-20s training camp at The Home Depot Center in Carson Oct. 5-9. The U.S. will play against Japan on Oct. 8 at 8 pm. The 5-day camp will be the last training session for the team before competing in the FIFA World Youth Championship in United Arab Emirates from Nov. 27 to Dec. 19.

This is Harvey's first career honor by Soccer America and the third by a Bruin this season.
