Former Wildcat Joins Football Coaching Search Committee

TUCSON, Ariz. - Brandon Marshall, a graduate student at the University of Arizona and aformer wide receiver for the Wildcats, was selected to bring a studentpresence to the UA's head football coach search committee, senior associateathletics director Kathleen LaRose announced today.

'We determined that it would be wise to add a student to the committee,'she said. 'I'm delighted that Brandon agreed to serve on the group.'

Marshall, 26, earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the UAin May 2002. He is studying toward a master's in learning, reading andculture. He was a top rotation receiver for the Wildcats in 2000 and 2001,catching 11 passes for 175 yards as a junior and 20 passes for 411 yards asa senior. In his final year, he was on the receiving end of a 99-yardtouchdown pass against Idaho that stands as a school and Pac-10 record.
