PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- Washington State junior No. 78 Orsolya Sallai as well as No. 40 ranked doubles pair Lorena Arias/Chris Martinez are the three remaining Cougars at the All-American Invitational after competition Sunday.

The three stay after WSU tandem Sallai and Amy Toth were knocked out of prequalifying competition after falling to Vanderbilt's Audra Falk and Annie Meenes, 8-2.

'Orsi and Amy played hard and just came up short,' said WSU Head Coach Lisa Hart. 'They are improving every match and that's important.'

Both singles and doubles qualifying competition is set to begin Tuesday for Sallai and Arias/Martinez. Sallai will face No. 36 ranked Jessica Roland of Texas A&M at 10:30 a.m., while Arias/Martinez's opponent has yet to be determined they will begin play at 3 p.m.

'We are excited and looking forward to competing in the qualifying rounds,' Coach Hart said.
