Rowing Finishes Among Top 15 At Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass. - The USC women's rowing varsity eight boat finished 15th in the championship eights division of the Head of the Charles on Sunday, Oct. 19, on the Charles River in Boston, Mass. The Head of the Charles regatta is the largest two-day rowing event in the world.

In a cold mist, the Women of Troy crossed the finish line in a time of 16:5.06 to finish tenth among collegiate crews. The London Training Center won the competition with a time of 15:31.08, followed by USRowing (15:49.558) and the Princeton Training Center (15:56.97). Yale placed four overall, but was the top finisher among the university teams in a time of 16:08.25.

USC's next regatta is this Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Head of the American on the American River in Sacramento.
