Vukadinovic Inducted Into Cal's Hall of Fame

BERKELEY, Calif. - Former Cal star Milica Vukadinovic was one of seven 2003 inductees into the California Hall of Fame. The formal induction ceremonies were staged Friday, Oct. 24 at the annual Hall of Fame gala at the banquet facilities at the Greek Orthodox Church in Oakland.
Vukadinovic was joined by this year's other inductees -- Jon Zuber (baseball, class of 1992), Russell White (football, class of 1993), Larry Lutz (football, class of 1936), Matt Lucena (tennis, class of 1992), Charles Lucchesi (gymnastics/swimming, class of 1949) and Troy Auzenne (football, class of 1992).
Vukadinovic led Cal to NCAA postseason berths in each of her two seasons - 1992 and 1993. The Belgrade, Yugoslavia, product earned Kodak All-America honorable mention in 1992 and became the only first team Kodak All-American in Cal women's basketball history in 1993. Vukadinovic also was a two-time first team All-Pac-10 choice, a GTE Academic All-American and a two-time first team Pac-10 All-Academic recipient.
Voted Cal's women's basketball Player of the Decade for 1986-96, she still ranks fourth in scoring average (15.7 ppg), sixth in assists (358) and fourth for three-point percentage (.389) in the school's career record book.
The only other Cal women's basketball player in the school's hall of fame is Colleen Galloway, who was inducted in 1989.
