Gymnasts To Perform Exhibition In Gill

Dec. 4, 2003

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State gymnastics team will give fans a sneak peak of the upcoming season when the Beavers perform an exhibition at 7 p.m., Friday, December 19 in Gill Coliseum. Admission is free.

The Beavers will be split into two groups, with approximately five or six athletes from each group performing on each event.

Oregon State returns 21 of 24 routines from last year's team. Among the returnees are All-American Tanya Ricioli-Hebron and 2003 Pacific-10 floor co-champion Chrissy Lamun. Annie Campbell, an All-Pacific-10 all-arounder and NCAA Regional champion in 2002, is also back after missing all of last season with an injury.

The Beavers open the season January 9 at the Super Six Challenge in Alabama. Their first home meet is set for January 16 against Cal State-Fullerton. In all, OSU will have five regular season home meets and also will host the NCAA West Regional Championships.
