EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Corrie Mizusawa's running jumper with 13.7 seconds gaveNo. 22 Oregon a 53-52 victory over Montana on Friday night.
Mizusawa took the ball off an inbounds pass and drove through the lane forthe winner. The Grizzlies had a chance to win, but failed to score on twoattempts in the final seconds.
Mizusawa finished the game with 13 points to lead the Ducks (7-1). AndreaBills had 10 points and set a career-high with 21 rebounds.
Hollie Tyler had 21 points and 18 rebounds to pace Montana (5-2), which lostfor the first time since falling to Texas on Nov. 30. Katie Edwards added 13points.
The teams traded scoring runs in the first half, and Montana led 28-25 atthe break.
Brandi Davis capped a 10-point Oregon run with a layup with 6:30 left in thefirst half. Montana responded with a nine-point run, highlighted by six fromTyler.
Oregon won for the second time in three games without Cathrine Kraayeveld,who injured her right knee in practice Dec. 2.
