Post-Game Notes

Dec. 19, 2003

The loss snapped Washington's 18-game home winning streak, the fourth-longest in school history. Washington last lost at home on Mar. 22, 2002, in an NIT third-round game against Oregon.

Andrea Lalum totaled 15 points in the contest, marking her eighth-consecutive game with at least 10 points.

Washington was held scoreless after taking a 70-66 lead with 1:55 remaining. Texas Tech finished the game on an 8-0 run, the longest run of the game by either team.

After combining for 27 points in the first half, Raiders guard Jia Perkins and forward Cisti Greenwalt were held to just two points apiece in the second half.

Washington guard Giuliana Mendiola scored 17 of her 27 points after halftime. The game was her fifth in the last six with at least 20 points.

Washington led for 7:04 of the final 7:15 in the contest, before Tech took the lead with 11 seconds remaining.

Two Raiders players earned double-doubles, including forward Casey Jackson (10 pts, 16 reb) and forward Cisti Greenwalt (15 pts, 11 reb). Jackson's rebounds, remarkably, were not a season-high - she grabbed 19 in a 73-45 win vs. Rutgers.

Washington was outrebounded, 49-38, in the game. In their two losses, the Huskies have been outrebounded by a combined 93-68 margin.
