Griffin, Taylor Selected To Soccer America's MVPs List

Griffin, also a first-team NSCAA All-American, led the Bruin defense to 16 shutouts and a school record-tying 0.52 team goals against average. He was one of just two Bruins to start all 23 games, and he contributed four assists on the year. Griffin this season was also selected to the NSCAA All-Far West Region first team and to the All-Pac-10 first team.
Taylor, a second-team NSCAA All-American, was the Pac-10 Player of the Year and led UCLA in scoring for the second consecutive season, tallying 14 goals and eight assists for 36 points. Six of Taylor's goals were game-winners for UCLA. He was also a member of the NSCAA All-Far West Region and All-Pac-10 first teams.
