Women's Golf To Host Three Clinics

Oregon State head women's golf coach Rise Lakowske and her squad will hold three golf clinics in February and March, including an adult golf clinic, a high school coaches clinic and a high school girls golf team clinic.

The adult golf clinic is available for beginners and intermediate golfers in a choice of two sessions consisting of three days of small-group instruction at the Merritt Truax Indoor Center adjacent to Reser Stadium on the OSU campus.
The first session runs Feb. 3, 5 and 10 at 7 p.m.; and the second session is Feb. 8, 15 and 22 at 6 p.m. Each lesson runs approximately 1 ï¿½ hours.
Cost for each three-lesson session is $100; each session is limited to 12 people and golf clubs will be provided if needed. Instruction is provided by head coach Rise Lakowske, volunteer assistant coach Julia Smith, and OSU team members.
The high school coaches clinic will be held Saturday, March 13 at Trysting Tree Golf Club from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $75 and includes lunch. Lakowske, Trysting Tree head professional Sean Arey, and former OSU All-American and Futures Tour player Kathleen Takaishi will lead the session.
The high school girls golf team clinic is March 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trysting Tree for a cost of $30 per player. The clinic is open to all high school girls teams and coaches.
