Football Recruiting Dinner Feb. 4

What positions did we improve at? Who do you see playing right away? What was your thought process on signing so many players at that position?
All those questions and many more will be answered at the first annual Oregon State University Football Recruiting Dinner, Wed., Feb. 4. The dinner coincides with the first official day of the Letter of Intent signing period.
'This is a terrific opportunity for Beaver fans to hear what the coaches think about this year's class and the future of OSU football,' Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis said. 'The entire football staff will be in attendance for what promises to be a fun and relaxed evening.'
The venue will be the Embassy Suites at Washington Square in Tigard. Cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 5:45 p.m., with a chicken or prime rib dinner to follow. Dress in your favorite game-day attire.
Silent auction items include golf packages at Pumpkin Ridge, Bandon Dunes, Broken Top, Tualatin, Riverside, and the Oregon Golf Club. Other items include numerous autographed paraphernalia from former Beavers who are now competing in the professional ranks, a dinner for eight with head coach Mike Riley at Hayden's Lakeside Grill in Tualatin, a five-night stay at Wallowa Lake, a trip with the OSU football team, a guided elk hunt in Central Oregon, a rafting trip on the Deschuttes River, a guided fishing trip on the Siletz River, and many other items.

Cost is $45 per person, or you can reserve a table of eight for $360.
