USC Pitching Rotation Changed For Stanford Series

LOS ANGELES -- Sophomore left-hander Bobby Paschal will start in tonight's 6 p.m. game against No. 1 Stanford in a change made by the USC baseball coaching staff. Freshman right-hander Ian Kennedy and the team's No. 1 starter for the season will pitch in Saturday's 1 p.m. game after getting the save in Tuesday's 2-0 win at UC Irvine.
Paschal (1-2, 3.46 ERA) will face Stanford left-hander Mark Romanczuk (3-1, 4.13) with Kennedy matching up against RHP Jeff Gilmore (3-1, 4.40). Sunday's starter has not been determined for USC while Stanford will use left-hander Blake Holler (2-0, 1.89).
The nonconference series with the Cardinal will conclude on Sunday (March 7) at 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live, along with Gametracker live stats, on usctrojans.com.
