The win was Arizona's third straight and improved the Wildcats to 10-6-1 for the year. TCU fell to an even 8-8 with the loss.

After a Moises Duran strikeout, freshman Jason Donald moved Boyer to third with a one-out single to center that TCU's Jerid Buttell misplayed for an error, allowing Boyer to score and Donald to advance to second.
