Bowling Takes Fourth To Lead Stanford On Final Day Of NCAA Zone E Meet

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Sara Bowling's fourth-place finish was Stanford's top performance in the platform competition on the third and final day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Meet on Saturday at the Oklahoma Community College Pool. Bowling finished with 378.35 points. Erin Lashnits also competed in the platform for the Cardinal, finishing tied for ninth with 323.25 points.

Arizona State's Trisha Tumlinson won her second event of the meet with 434.60 points.

Stanford's Cassidy Krug and Ashlee Rosenthal had already qualified for the NCAA Championships after Friday's 3-meter competition and did not compete in Saturday's platform.

The 2004 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will run from Thursday-Saturday, March 18-20, in College Station, Texas. The event will be hosted by Texas A&M.Women's Platform Finals
