Scott Oxandaboure Leads Trojan Golf At Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational

Statesboro, GA - Senior Scott Oxandaboure shot a 2-under 214 to tie for fifth and lead the No. 11 USC men's golf team to a tie for eighth on Sunday at the Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational held at Forest Heights Country Club.

It's the second-consecutive top 10 finish for Oxandaboure, who fired a first-round 68 to go with two rounds of 73 to tie with Colin Biles of Ohio State and Camilo Villegas of Florida. Matt Every of Florida won the individual title with a 207, followed by Bill Haas of Wake Forest (209) and Chris Kirk of Georgia (212).

In the team race, the Trojans shot a 17-over-par 881, 22 strokes behind team champion Florida (859). Georgia was second (869), followed by South Carolina (871), Duke (872) and Augusta State (876).

Also for the Trojans, junior Nico Bollini tied for 25th (220), freshman Joshua Wooding tied for 39th (224), junior Ben Hayes tied for 47th (226) and sophomore Taylor Wood tied for 61st (229).

USC is next in action at the National Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., on March 28-29.
