Women's Golf Fourth After First Round Of Betsy Rawls Invitational

Austin, Tex. - The USC women's golf team shot a 30-over 318 on Sunday and is in fourth after one round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational held at The Hills Country Club.

The Women of Troy are nine strokes behind tourney host Texas (309). UNLV is second (313) and Vanderbilt is third (316).

Individually, freshmen Veronica Felibert and Catalina Marin lead USC after each shooting 78 to tie for 12th. She is six strokes back of Vanderbilt's Chris Brady (72).

Also for the Women of Troy, sophomore Tanya Dergal and senior Anna Rawson each shot 79 to tie for 17th, while sophomore Irene Cho shot 82 and is tied for 39th and senior Rachel Bell shot 83 and is tied for 49th.

Round two of the Betsy Rawls gets underway on Monday, with round three coming on Tuesday.
