CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State's Andy Baldwin has been named the Pacific-10 Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 16-22, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced Tuesday.

Baldwin (Hood River, Ore./Hood River Valley HS) pitched 6.0 scoreless innings en route to a 7-0 Beaver win over Utah Valley State on March. 20. He struck out four batters while scattering nine hits and one walk. With the performance, Baldwin improved his record to 4-2 this season and lowered his earned run average to 2.67.

The Pitcher of the Week honor is the first-ever for Baldwin and the 53rd selection all-time for Oregon State. It's the first time this season that an OSU player has earned one of the conference's weekly honors.
