Cardinal Women In Seventh At Pac-10 Championships

Somis, Calif. - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 313 on the second day of competition at the 2004 Pacific-10 Women's Golf Championships at the Saticoy Country Club in Somis, Calif. The Cardinal's two-round total of 623 (+47) puts them in seventh place overall heading into the last round of competition. UCLA leads the field with a 605, followed by Southern California (614), California (615), Arizona (615) and Washington (619).

Two UCLA golfers, Hannah Jun and Charlotte Mayorkas, are tied for first individually with a two-round total of one-over par 145. Arizona's Erica Blasberg is third with a 146 (+2), while USC's Irene Cho is fourth after carding a 147.

Freshman golfer Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana (Long Beach, CA) is still tied for 12th individually after shooting a 76 today to bring her two-round total to 154. Three Cardinal golfers are tied for 21st - Kim Kouwabunpat (81-77), Wendra Liang (82-76) and Stephanie Lue (78-80) - with a 158. Freshman Lauren Todd (Phoenix, AZ) remains tied for 41st with a 164 (84-80).
