No. 18 Cal in Sixth Place After Three Rounds of Pac-10 Play

Marzana, Ariz. - After three rounds of play at the Pac-10 Championships at The Gallery at Dove Mountain, Cal is currently in sixth place. The Golden Bears added a 363 score to their first and second round tallies of 377 and 380 for a total of 1120. Currently leading the pack is Arizona State (1076) followed closely by host Arizona (1085) and UCLA (1087).

Cal senior J.R. Ruda is currently in seventh place with a three-round total of 213 (-3). Teammate Peter Tomasulo is following closely with a 217 (+1) score, good enough for a 10th-place standing. The Pac-10 is being paced by two Arizona State athletes, Alejandro Canizares and Chez Reavie, who are both seven under par with a score of 209.

The Bears will play the final round of the Pac-10 Championships tomorrow. The first tee time is 7:30 a.m.
