SR RHP Scott Burns recorded the first two saves of his career in both wins versus California last weekend... Burns leads the team with a 2.59 ERA and opposing batting average (.205)... SO RHP John Meloan moved his record to 4-0 on the season after putting in 6.1 innings on May 2, while playing with the stomach flu.

Arizona State - The Sun Devils re-entered the Baseball America Poll at No. 20 this week... Down 7-1 in the second to Wichita State on Apr. 27, the Sun Devils came back to win 10-9, thanks to their season-high four home runs in the game... Arizona State also beat the Shockers 4-3 on Apr. 28 thanks in part to SR RHP Jeff Mousser who pitched 6.1 innings allowing only two hits, one run and struck out five... With the two-game sweep of No. 10 Wichita State, the Sun Devils now move to 13-3 against Top-25 opponents.... JR LF Jeff Larish 's season-high hit streak now stands at 10 games... Ingram now has 18 career saves, for second on the Cal all-time career save list... In the 25-3 route of Sacramento State on Apr. 27, California recorded a Pac-10 season-high 22 run victory margin over its opponent and tied the season-high for runs scored by a Pac-10 team this season (before Washington scored 26 on May 1) ...
