UCLA to Host Two Tennis Regionals

LOS ANGELES - The UCLA men's and women's tennis teams have each been selected to host separate four-team NCAA Tennis Regionals, May 14-16 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
The ninth-seeded UCLA women (16-7) will open up play on Friday, May 14, hosting Long Beach State (18-8) at the LATC beginning at 1:00 p.m. Prior to that, BYU (22-5) will face Pepperdine (14-9) beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday's winners will meet in the regional final on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 p.m. with the winner of that match advancing to the 16-team NCAA Championships, May 20-23 in Athens, Ga.
The fourth-seeded UCLA men (18-5) open up play on May 15, hosting Oral Roberts (6-13) at the LATC beginning at Noon. Prior to that match, Fresno State (13-9) will take on Pepperdine (18-8) at 9:00 a.m. Winners will meet in the regional final on Sunday, May 16 at 1:00 p.m. The regional winner will advance to the 16-team NCAA Championships, May 22-25 in Tulsa, Okla.
Tickets prices for the NCAA Regionals will be $6 for adults and $4 for students and youth. They can be purchased at the entrance to the LATC on the day of the event.
