Women's Tennis Earns Bid Into NCAA Regionals

TEMPE, Ariz. - For the19th time in the past 20 years under head coach Sheila McInerney, the Arizona State women's tennis team (6-14) earned a bid into the postseason and will travel to Austin, Texas to compete in the NCAA Regionals hosted by the University of Texas. The Sun Devils earned a No. 3 seed at the regional and will face No. 2 seed Louisiana State (18-8) in a first round match up on Saturday, May 15.

No. 1 seed Texas (22-5) will take on No. 4 seed Texas-Arlington (18-6) in the other first round dual on Saturday. The two first round winners will square off against one another on Sunday, May 16 with the champion advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 Team Championship on May 20-29 in Athens, Georgia.

Times for each day's duals will be announced at a later date.
