Women's Tennis Falls to No. 6 USC in Round Two of NCAA Tournament

Los Angeles, Calif. - The Arizona women's tennis team closed out the season on Saturday with a loss to the No. 6 USC Women of Troy. With the 4-0 loss Arizona finishes the season with a 7-13 record.
In doubles action, juniors Maja Mlakar and Dianne Hollands once again won in the first position over Luana Magnani and Carine Vermeulen. Arizona lost the doubles matches on courts two and three to give USC the doubles point.
Later in singles action, Arizona was unable to win a match as they lost three matches early. Junior Maja Mlakar, junior Kelly Perry, and freshman Jessie Rochefort all lost their matches in two sets to give USC the overall 4-0 win.
Although the Wildcats have completed team competition for the season, junior Dianne Hollands will compete in the singles tournament as well as in the doubles tournament with fellow junior Maja Mlakar.
