O'Grady and Matalonga Fall at NCAA Doubles Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Arizona men's tennis' No. 24-ranked doubles team of junior Colin O'Grady and sophomore Roger Matalonga fell in straight sets to Stanford's No. 8-ranked doubles team of KC Corkery and Sam Warburg. The loss dropped O'Grady and Matalonga's season record to 18-11.

O'Grady and Matalonga battle with Stanford's pair, but the No. 8-ranked Cardinal team proved too strong for the No. 24-ranked Arizona team. O'Grady and Matalonga held with in a game for the majority of both sets, but Stanford managed to pull away at the end to win the match, 7-5, 6-3.

With the loss, Arizona has completed its 2003-04 season and will resume play again in the fall of 2004.
