Rowers Earn Pac-10 All-Academic Honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Six members of USC women's rowing team have been named to the 2004 Pac-10 All-Academic team, announced Pac-10 comissioner Tom Hansen on Thursday, May 27.

Senior Melissa Zimel and juniors Lauren Buford, Kate Kaso, and Kathryn Weslow earned first team honors. This marks Zimel's third consecutive first-team selection and the first career honor for Buford, Kaso and Weslow.

The Women of Troy's Andrea Korom and Andria Shook were named to the second team. Both rowers also earned second team honors in 2003.
