WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - UCLA's Lauren Fisher made the first team and Jackie Carleton was listed as an honorable mention selection, as All-Pac-10 Academic Women's Tennis Teams were released by the Conference Friday.
Fisher, a redshirt junior from Pittsburgh, Pa., carries a 3.60 grade point average and is majoring in Communications Studies. The duo is still alive in the NCAA Doubles Draw, reaching the finals with a semifinal win Friday.
Carleton, a sophomore from Jenkintown, Pa., started the season as the Bruins' No. 1 singles player and has played mostly at the No. 2 position. She is currently ranked No. 18 nationally in singles and No. 43 in doubles with partner Feriel Esseghir.
