UCLA Baseball Earns NCAA Regional Berth

The Bruins (33-27, 14-10) will travel to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the regional to face-off with Oklahoma in a 7:00 p.m. game on Friday night. Seeded third in the regional, the Bruins will meet up with the second-seeded and host Sooners (37-22) on the first day. Top-seeded Florida (40-20) and fourth-seeded Central Conneticut State (41-15-1) round out the foursome.

Head Coach Gary Adams, who is in his 30th and final year at the helm of the program, will lead the Bruins back to the postseason for the first time since 2000. That year, UCLA won its regional in Oklahoma City before advancing to a super regional at LSU.

Each Bruin game of the regional will be broadcast on www.uclabruins.com. Dave Marcus and Chris Pritchett will be calling the action from the Bricktown Ballpark, the home of the Oklahoma Redhawks, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
