Cardinal Men's Golf Announces 2003-04 Team Awards

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team announced its year-end awards for the 2003-04 season this afternoon.
The Low Freshman Stroke Average goes to Zack Miller (San Rafael, CA) with a 72.9 average. The Most Improved Award goes to sophomore Kyle Gentry (Carmel, CA). He lowered his stroke average 1.5 strokes per round this season. The Most Valuable Player goes to freshman golfer Zack Miller. Miller had the highest number of rounds counted for the season. Lastly, the Stanford Tradition award, an award given to the player exhibiting leadership, strong work ethic, academic excellence, and an overall appreciation and understanding of the traditions of Stanford and Stanford men's golf, has been given to senior Eric Johnson (Antioch, CA).
The Stanford men's golf program is proud of these team members and all of their efforts.
