Football Schedule Changes: San Jose State, BYU Games Moved Up One Week

Stanford's first two games of the 2004 season have been moved up one week, giving the Cardinal a September 4 opener vs. San Jose State. The two team's were scheduled to play on September 11. Stanford's second game vs. BYU has also been moved, from September 18 to September 11. Kickoff times for both games are to be determined.

Following Stanford's first two games, the Cardinal will have an off week on September 18 before playing their final nine regular season games on consecutive Saturdays beginning September 25 against defending national champion USC.

September 4 - San Jose State (originally scheduled for September 11)

September 11 - BYU (originally scheduled for September 18)

September 18 - bye

September 25 - USC

October 2 - Washington

October 9 - at Notre Dame

October 16 - at Washington State

October 23 - Oregon

October 30 - at UCLA

November 6 - at Arizona State

November 13 - Oregon State

November 20 - at California
