Easton All-America Softball Team Includes Five Bruins

Five UCLA softball players have earned Easton All-America honors, it was announced Thursday. The list includes players from Easton-sponsored schools in all divisions, from Junior College through NCAA Division I schools. UCLA had two first-team selections, one second-team selection, one third-team selection and an honorable mention honoree.
Senior Keira Goerl and sophomore Caitlin Benyi were named to the Easton All-America first team as a pitcher and second baseman, respectively. Sophomore Andrea Duran was the second-team selection at third base, while senior centerfielder Stephanie Ramos was placed on the third team. Freshman shortstop Jodie Legaspi was named as an Honorable Mention selection to the list.
UCLA won its 11th National Championship on May 31, as the Bruins successfully defended their NCAA title with a 3-1 win over California. UCLA has now won 10 of a possible 23 NCAA Division I softball championships.
