June 18, 2004

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington State University's Erin Patterson was named to the Pacific-10 Conference Women's Rowing Team, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced, Friday.

Patterson, an outgoing senior from Sumner, Wash., added to her list of 2003-04 season accolades. In addition to her conference honor, Patterson earned a spot on the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-America Second Team and the CRCA All-West Region First Team. Patterson was a member of the Cougars' varsity eight crew that finished 14th in the nation.

The Cougar rowing team is coming off an historic 2004 season as the team, led by a third place finish from the second varsity eight crew, finished the NCAA Championships in ninth place last month.

WSU's Danny Breurck earned a spot to the All-Pac-10 men's team.
