UCLA Golf Update

UCLA golfer John Poucher competed in the Scratch Players Championship over the weekend at the Fort Ord Bayonet Course in Seaside, CA.

Poucher, who will be a senior in the fall, posted rounds of 72-76-70-74-293 and tied for sixth place.

In other UCLA golf news, former UCLA All-American Steve Conway failed to make the cut at the 104th North and South Amateur held at Pinehurst No.2 in Pinehurst, NC.

Former All-American Travis Johnson tied for 10th at the Gateway Tour's Legend Trail event in Scottsdale, AZ. In his professional debut, Johnson shot rounds of 68-71-70--209 (-5) and earned $2,998.

Senior-to-be Melissa Martin also missed the cut at the Women's Western Amateur held at Maple Bluff CC in Madison, WI.
