Golden Bears Take On Two More Events at U.S. Olympic Trials

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Cal alum Joe Bruckhart came in 43rd in the men's 200-meter freestyle competition Thursday morning at the U.S. Olympic Trials. The San Diego native had been training in Berkeley following his All-American career at Cal that ended in 2003.

Fellow alum Jeff Natalizio, who earned All-American honors as a senior this past season, finished 44th in the men's 100-meter backstroke competition, touching the wall in 1:00.97.
