OSU Swimmer At Olympic Trials

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Oregon State's Mari Embertson swam in the United States Olympic Team Trials on Wednesday, placing 34th in the 400-meter individual medley and not advancing to the finals. Embertson (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg HS) posted a time of 4 minutes, 58.19 seconds in her first-ever Olympic Trials swim.

Embertson, who will be a senior at Oregon State next season, had earned All-America honors this past season by placing seventh in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships.
