Conway Two Shots Off the Lead at SoCal Amateur

Two former UCLA golfers are within striking distance of the leaders at the 105th Southern California Amateur being held at Hillcrest Country Club this week.

Former All-Americans Steve Conway and defending champion Roy Moon are no less than three shots behind the leaders entering Sunday's final round. Conway is tied for third at two-over par 212 after posting a one-over par 71 on Saturday. Moon is tied for fifth at three-over par 213. He carded a 71 in the third round.

Sophomore Chris Heintz is tied for 30th at 225. He posted a third round score of 74.

Tom Hogarth of Northridge and Greg Lopez of San Juan Capistrano are tied for first place at even par 210.
