Swimmers Training At Cal Advance to Finals

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Junior Caleb Rowe just missed the cut for the men's 200-meter breaststroke finals, finishing ninth in the semi-final at 2:17.36. The top eight finishers advance to the final at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

Gary Hall Jr. and Sabir Muhammad, who train with co-head coach Mike Bottom in Berkeley, both made the finals in the 100-meter freestyle final. Hall finished third (49.30) and Muhammad eighth (49.70) in the semi-final.
