The 2005 Oregon State gymnastics schedule includes meets against five teams that qualified for the 2004 NCAA Gymnastics Championships - including defending national champion UCLA and two other teams that advanced to the Super Six. OSU will open the season at Cal State Fullerton on January 7, before returning home to host two of those Super Six teams. OSU's home opener is set for January 14 against the defending champion Bruins, and the Beavers will host Utah, also a 2004 Super Six team, on January 21. A January 28 trip to Stanford sets the Beavers up with another Super Six opponent, and OSU will host NCAA qualifier Arizona State on February 4. The Beavers will get a rematch with UCLA on March 19, when they compete at Arkansas. 2004 NCAA qualifier Nebraska is also scheduled to be at that meet. In addition to the five meets against last year's NCAA qualifiers, OSU will face several other top teams. The Beavers host California and Seattle Pacific on February 25. The annual Salbasgeon Suites Invitational is set for March 4, with Iowa State, Washington and UC-Davis joining the Beavers in the competition. OSU also has road meets on February 11 at Washington with Arkansas and February 12 at Seattle Pacific. The Beavers will compete at Arizona on February 18 and at BYU on March 11. The Pacific-10 Championships will be held March 26 at California. The NCAA Regionals are set for April 9 at a location to be determined, and Auburn will host the NCAA Championships on April 21-23.
