Blythe Hartley Wins Bronze Medal In 10-Meter Synchronized Platform Diving

USC senior diver Blythe Hartley of Canada captured a bronze medal today (Aug. 16) in the women's synchronised 10-meter platform event at the 2004 Athens Olympics.Hartley and teammate Emilie Heymans finished third in the competition with 327.78 points, behind gold medalists Lishi Lao and Ting Li of China (352.14) and silver medalists Natalia Gonchorova and Yulia Koltunova of Russia (340.92).Hartley is also entered in the 3-meter synchronized and 3-meter platform events in these Olympics.After three days of Olympic competition, USC athletes already have won seven medals. In addition to Hartley's bronze, the other medals have been won by swimmers: Kaitlin Sandeno (silver in the 400-meter individual medley and bronze in 400-meter freestyle), Lindsay Benko (silver in 400-meter freestyle relay), Klete Keller (400-meter freestyle), Erik Vendt (silver in 400-meter individual medley) and Gabe Woodward (bronze in 400-meter freestyle relay).
