Derting Suffers Dislocated Wrist

PULLMAN, Wash. --- Washington State middle linebacker and defensive co-captain Will Derting will have his left wrist casted and will be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a dislocation in the Cougars' Sunday scrimmage at Martin Stadium.Derting underwent multiple x-rays and a CAT scan Monday after having the injury reduced following the scrimmage session Sunday evening.The Okanogan, Wash., native will have his wrist placed in a cast for two weeks, and will be re-evaluated at that time. No timetable has been set for his return.ABDULLAH UPDATE: Senior free safety Hamza Abdullah will undergo surgery on a torn ligament in his thumb Monday night. His status will be determined Tuesday following post-operation evaluation.
