USC Football Games To Air On KMPC-AM And 8 Affiliates

USC's 2004 football games will air live on KMPC-AM 1540 The Ticket and an 8-station network of affiliates throughout the West, as well as in Spanish on KMXE-AM 830.The KMPC affiliates are: KSPA-AM 1510 in Ontario/Orange County, XEMM-AM 800 in San Diego, KGEO-AM 1230 in Bakersfield, KXPS-AM 1010 in Palm Springs, KVEN-AM 1450 in Ventura, KSZL-AM 1230 in Barstow, KSFB-AM 1220 in San Francisco and KFSN-AM 1140 in Las Vegas.Longtime Trojan voice Pete Arbogast (play-by-play), 1979 USC All-American quarterback Paul McDonald (analyst) and former Trojan wide receiver John Jackson (sidelines) will handle KMPC's game broadcasts. Game day actually will begin 3-and-a-half hours before kickoff with a pre-game show anchored by Southland radio broadcaster Mark Willard, who will be joined by Jackson, Los Angeles television personality Suzy Shuster and former UNLV head coach Harvey Hyde. They will also conduct the 2-hour post-game show.KMXE-AM 830 will broadcast all Trojan football games in Spanish, with popular John Laguna (play-by-play) and Mitchelle Zaralegui mikeside.The 'USC Insider Show' will air on KMPC-AM at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays during the football season, with Arbogast and Papadakis broadcasting live from USC's Heritage Hall. An interview with USC head coach Pete Carroll will be featured each week.Veteran USC announcer Rory Markas and former Trojan assistant coach Jim Hefner once again will handle the broadcasting duties for USC men's basketball games on KMPC in 2005.All of KMPC's USC football and men's basketball games can be heard on (as well as live internet broadcasts of Trojan women's volleyball, women's basketball, baseball and men's volleyball contests).
